| 2026.01.14 | full oil change, 10w-40, subaru OEM filter. took this long to get the filter. whoever put the last one on tightened it way too much, i'm surprised it didn't leak. anyway, the head gasket gods have been appeased, and no glitter in the pan! |
| 2025.12.22 | new sony head unit. someone down the ownership line took the mounting hardware, but i'm making do with two improvised brackets for now. 1-din, modern unit with cd and bluetooth capability. makes for a great spotify machine with options for my CD collection and radio for the local scene, and i got the last one on clearance! beats my old fancy 2-din any day, as far as i'm concerned. |
| 2025.12.18 | replaced left high/low bulb. 12V 60/55W, for posterity. halogens ftw! |
| 2025.12.08 | topped up coolant. was running a tiny bit low, but thermals have been running perfectly happy. |
| 2025.12.04 | re-registered! stamp duty was brutal, but she's worth it. seeing the fresh plate on a 25 year old car is a real laugh. |

| PRIORITY ONE | persistent boost leak around 4500 rpm. hopefully just a vacuum line, worst case turbo needs replacing. |
| PRIORITY TWO | aftermarket cruise control module is DOA. i've already driven some long distances in her and cruise control really isn't something i find all too desirable, so i'll probably just pull this. |
